How did Enoch Walk with God
Let’s look at Enoch as the main example in the Bible to answer how did Enoch walk with God. The first book of the Bible Genesis notes the first man know God in an intimate way. Enoch started walking with God AFTER his son was born, named Methuselah, which means “when he is dead it will be sent” in Hebrew.
Obviously, Enoch knew that his child would live until the flood and dedicated his life to training his son to follow God daily. Interesting to note, the name Enoch does mean ‘dedicated’ in Hebrew. He dedicated his Christian Walk with God for 300 years!
When my first child was born, my faith and fear of the Lord soared and became stronger. The desire and dedication for my child to follow God was overwhelming and I knew only God could make this happen. Having children can make a huge difference in your life priorities.

I want to get to know you better, Lord, I want to learn to love you with all my heart, soul, and mind. Show me how to follow your path instead of my own. Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord.
Just a Closer Walk with Thee Lyrics

I am weak but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.
Refrain:
Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
2 Thro’ this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.
[Refrain]
3 When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore. [Refrain]
